This was okay. Since students do not have a meal plan for Sat/Sun, I was concerned. You have to walk a bit to get to restaurants. Lots of bicycles in dorm areas. Target, etc. is a long walk. |

I didn't wander around very much but the area around the campus is really gorgeous. There are some shops around too. |

Old Town Pasadena is close by: a great, famous shopping/dining/entertainment street (with Paseo mall).
Although the students said that it takes them about 30mins to walk there... |

The community is pretty, and almost everything is within walking/biking distance. There are lots of little restaurants right off campus. |

It's a nice neighborhood for living in, but it's not the Ave in UWashington. I get the feeling that Techers are inwardly-focused and don't miss having clubs and bars next to campus. |

The area alon the perimeter of the campus is not bad at all. Pasadena city college is right next to the campus and the area is mainly residential. Nothing extreamly exciting however. |

Some nice little shops. I don't think Techers get to utilise them often however. |
