Son is already admitted; admissions rep made the time to talk with us even though we did not have an appointment. I was quite impressed with the Admissions Office; down-to-earth and nice. |

I already had met the admission officer giving the info session but I found that she did a good job conveying the true atmosphere of caltech. |

Caltech was once a Jeopardy category and they had a DVD of the relevant parts of the TV show. Not to brag ... but I knew all the answers. I'm a little chagrined to admit that the utes didn't. |

I went to a summer days program. They packed 200 of us into a big lecture hall and talked about college admissions in general, not Caltech specifically. They stressed getting recs from Junior Year teachers. |
