Information Session:
Yes - It was very imformative. lol. well they emphasized a lot on standarized test scores rather than the school transcript (kinda odd actually) and didnt even talk about taking challenging courses) Campus Tour:
Yes - It was pretty cold when i went, but we got to go to most of the buildings and learned a lot of what the campus life is like, how large it actually was, etc.
Columbia University Campus:
Friendliness/Courtesy of Students: 3 - Good -
our tour guides we had were nice, but everyone else kept to themselves at the campus
Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff: 4 - Very Good -
the lady that was part of the admissions process was really nice and answered all of our questions without hesitating. she knew what she was talkin about (which is a good thing)
Appearance of Campus: 5 - Excellent -
i thought it was a pretty campus, lot of space to walk around, pretty condensed which is good since u dont have to walk that much..lol
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness: 4 - Very Good Dormitories: -
cant comment since we didnt get to see any
Security/Safety: 2 - Fair -
i wouldnt feel too safe here..the dorms and the library are safe places since u need access there, but any other building is open to the public, so anyone can come in from the street (not safe!!!!!!!)
Overall Campus Impression: 4 - Very Good
Off-Campus:
Area Immediately Around Campus: 5 - Excellent -
its NYC..obv its great..great places to eat, watch broadway shows, everything basically
City/Town/Community: 4 - Very Good

Visit Description:
basically the people seemed happy there (well the tour guides did) but they did look swamped with work, even tho its an ivy league, i'd rather enjoy my college experience, rather than do work, since thats what high school is for..being swamped wit work.
