The "quad" was just like that of a rural New England campus- only in the heart of Manhattan. |

Great campus, but South Lawn was covered by tarps, as it apparently almost always is. |

Although the school is in NYC, the campus is full of trees and greenery. The only bad thing was that there was some construction going on near the gates, with bulldozers and fencing :( |

Columbia's campus was so beautiful. There were nice, prep-school like buildings, and it's in a nice section of NYC- Washington Heights. |

It was gorgeous. the grass is always taken care of and the landscape is serene. it was very clean. A lot of construction though. =( would have given a great first impression. (wasn't my 1st visit |

Gorgeous self-contained campus with buildings designed by some our most talented architects. |

I loved the campus. The buildings were beautiful (just like the pictures) and it has a very good atmosphere. |

It was cold and raining, and still managed to be gorgeous. |

Appearance from the outside was decent. However, once you step inside, it is absolutely gorgeous. Aside from being a bit small, the environment fosters a great atmosphere for learning. |

Really liked the campus--and the fact that there IS a campus, with green space too! Most of the buildings were very distinguished looking--very academic. |

OMG, I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the campus, its right in the middle of the big city, but yet once you are on campus its like being on a small private college that is all along. |

Well it is a beautiful campus, but there was a lot of stuff going on that day on the main lawn area. There was a huge white tent and some other stuff in front of the library that really took away from the first time impression. The college is very cool |

The campus was amazing. I loved how it blended with the city beautifully, and yet it was still obvious which buildings were Columbia's. I also liked how all the buildings looked the same (especially the blue roofs haha). |

If you're looking for verdant lawns and expansive, green quads, Columbia is NOT what you're looking for. The campus is gray, and unlike some other urban campuses, the landscape is actually one that fits in a city. There is minimal greenery, bu |
