One can feel the presence of security , but being from NYC I am used to tighter security, I guess. Ithaca, NY is no NYC. |

There is a police station right on campus, a bus system to bring you home at night, and a blue light system where you can ask for a boy and girl escort to get back to your room. |

Good, but because there is very little activity on most parts of the campus, walking around quiet areas of campus late at night definitely needs to be done with caution. |

Wasn't even an issue at Cornell. I mean, seriously- the Ithaca Police drive around in VW bugs. |

The campus is isolated(not in a bad way) so it's pretty safe. Like at most schools, if you don't make stupid decisions then you'll most likely be fine. |

There were cops and guard stations EVERYWHERE. Even though it's a quasi-urban area, it has a distinctive campus feel. Although it feels more "public" than private, if that makes sense. |
