collegetown is such a cute town. especially the waterfalls just minutes from campus, just add a serene feeling that you cant find anywhere else. |

The area immediately surrounding the campus is nice and cozy. Go to Collegetown Bagels and of course Starbucks. |

Collegetown was a lot of fun and is really just an extension of campus. There are lots of restaurants and the streets are packed with kids. |

Very rural, beautiful area. Weather changes quickly, so be prepared for anything. Wear comfy shoes - you'll be walking and climbing, but it's worth every step. |

The area right around campus is gorgeous. The finger lakes are the highlight, in my opinion. |

There is not much to do in the immediate area, and only a few decent restaurants. Student community is somewhat underserved. |

ithaca is a cute town, there's enough there to meet your needs but also not too much - cornell definitely has a strong sense of campus community, because there isn't much to do outside. |

Very cute town. Even some of the sketch local people we ran into on the streets were very nice. |

It wasn't NYC, but there was enough to do when you do want to get off campus. |

Its not going to have as many things to do like New York City, but its not a desolate farmland either. Collegetown is one of the more popular places for people to go off campus. |
