Hanover seems like a pretty safe town. I believe the tour guide said the nearest hospital is 2 miles away - the Dartmouth Medical Center. |

I felt save walking the campus at all hours of the day. Dartmouth is fairly isolated so there is no big city near it that you have to worry about. |

The tour guide informed us that no major incidents ever happened on the campus. I saw a flyer, however, that warned of a male groper...so the campus seemed pretty alert. |

Even as I walked alone around the campus at 1:30 am, I felt safe. Dartmouth is in a nice, small town without much crime, but just in case has many machines outside that can easily alert the police. |

I can see why this is one of the safest campuses in the country, people would leave their laptops in the library, and an hour later, they would still be there.
Also there were blue lights everywhere, so if there was a safety problem, it wouldn't l |

They also have the ubiquitous blue light poles. Don't expect any Hanover gang appearances anytime soon ;P |

Very small town and safety was not one of the issues brought up by the tour guide. |
