Hanover is not a place hopping with excitement, and is as far away as you can get from a city. It seems as though it only encompasses the campus and then 500 feet of shops and ends there. [View Full Report] |

Hanover has lots of stores and restaurants, and West Lebanon (next town) offers more, including an airport. We never felt isolated. [View Full Report] |

Hanover may turn off some without a busy metropolis atmosphere, but I liked it. I was able to tell that students are very important to the city. Many of the shops and restaurants catered to the Dartmouth students. [View Full Report] |

The closest airport is 2 hrs away (bus ride) in Manchester. If you like big cities, then it's not the place for you. However, because it's such a small town, it seems like it has a great sense of community - everyone probably knows each other [View Full Report] |
