Hanover is not a place hopping with excitement, and is as far away as you can get from a city. It seems as though it only encompasses the campus and then 500 feet of shops and ends there. [View Full Report]

Hanover has lots of stores and restaurants, and West Lebanon (next town) offers more, including an airport. We never felt isolated. [View Full Report]

We really didn't see much of the surrounding area, but the tour guide said there are free buses that run by the campus that will take students to W. Lebanon where there is more shopping available [View Full Report]

Very cute and quiet. No residential homes in sight. Perfect for parties. They have their own ski slopes! [View Full Report]

Hanover may turn off some without a busy metropolis atmosphere, but I liked it. I was able to tell that students are very important to the city. Many of the shops and restaurants catered to the Dartmouth students. [View Full Report]

The closest airport is 2 hrs away (bus ride) in Manchester. If you like big cities, then it's not the place for you. However, because it's such a small town, it seems like it has a great sense of community - everyone probably knows each other [View Full Report]
