Campus Visit Notes for DePaul University:
Visit Description: just got back from Chicago to move D into dorm. She's exhausted & exhilarated by freshman orientation. all freshmen will have mandatory day of volunteering before school starts. Then she has meetings and a White Sox game to attend courtesy of the Community Service group. I'm getting a good vibe from her and she's met lots of the out-of-town students like herself because the school encourages them to move-in early so they can spend the next week exploring Chicago in small groups with faculty. Great idea.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments: B&B named Villa Toscana on Halsted; not far from school. it's in a vibrant, predominately gay neighborhood with little parking but B & B nice and not expensive.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments: El Neuvo Mexicano on Clark!!! am still thinking about how good this food was!
