It was a turnoff though when the guy said that legacy played a big role in admissions :( |

The information session took place in the auditorium in the beautiful Admissions House. The Admissions Officer was warm and comforting. They showed a video and the session was very informational. |

The info session was informative and the admissions officer tried to stress what made Duke unique, but it sounded very similar to the talks at many other schools. |

Again, professors and staff made me feel very welcome. They even had a few student groups, like the Duke Improv, do some entertaining pieces for us. |

It was packed when I went in April (over spring break). The admissions officer was friendly and informative, but not very candid. She acted more like a PR person for the school. |

By far the best information session I have attended at any school. The admissions officer that led it was very insightful and knowledgeable and, at least for me, generated a feeling of excitement about the school. |
