I had multiple ditz moments and got lost and came back to the same faculty at a table and they were still nice to me even though I seemed like a girl who can't follow a map. :) |

I had little contact with staff, but they all seemed friendly and willing to talk with people and help out as much as possible. |

The admissions office staff is very helpful, offering pamphlets, maps, directions to eating spots, etc. |

The admissions officers were uncharacteristic of most admissions officers at prestigious universities. They were not snobbish at all. One of the officers took the time to talk to me for a full hour! |

While walking behind the science buildings, a teacher asked if we were finding our way okay. He might have been more concerned about us poking our noses where we shouldn't have been, though! |

I felt like I was an actual student at Duke when I was speaking to the admissions people, instead of being just one of the thousands that come every year to tour the school. |

I actually got to speak with the president, and some of the admissions staff. They were all extremely helpful and sincere. The financial aid people were also very helpful. |
