Visit Activities:


Information Session: Yes - Very informative Honors Delegates Day Information session

Campus Tour: Yes - Was a gorgeous day, very easy walk all over campus just under 500 acres. Beautiful red brick buildings, lots of big oak trees covered with Spanish moss

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Honors Department staff was very informative and accomodating

The campus looked gorgeous! The day couldn't have been prettier! Sunny and 68 degrees strolling along the campus of FSU was stellar!



Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:

Suwanee Dining Hall was immaculate and beautiful! The Gothic ceiling of this dining hall is definately something to see! The restrooms were immaculate too!



Dormitories:

Landis Hall, residence hall of the Honors Program. Has had $18 million renovation, kitchen and study room on every floor, suite style rooms, co-ed by wing, 5th floor view of Landis green is

The campus is gorgeous and very compact, can walk from one side to the other in 20 to 25 minutes

Downtown Tallahassee is a stone's throw away, shopping is a short ride away either by car or campus bus (free to students)

Visit Description:

Daughter loved FSU before we went and loves it even more now!

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

stayed at Residence Inn downtown at the capitol/decent place to stay if you use Priceline and get the $50 deal/ hot breakfast is good

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

chili's, very busy, lots of college students both eating and working

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Governor's Square Mall, decent shopping and not a long drive from campus
