Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - Information session was insightful, done by recent graduate of Furman. Although it was pretty much like any other information session on a college visit.

Campus Tour: Yes - Good campus tour done by one of the students. Knew his facts and showed us most of the campus.

Classroom Visit: Yes - Visited a political science class, and it was great. Teacher knew her stuff, plus added some good humor to the discussion.

Campus Visit Notes for Furman University

Visit Description:

My visit to Furman University was fantastic, from the overnight visit, where I attended a concert and got to meet a lot of great people, to the tour and information session, and to the classroom visit. Furman, after this visit, has jumped to the very top of my list, and at this point, I am ready to apply early admission. I'm ready to attend tomorrow. I recommend Furman to anyone looking for a liberal arts school with fantastic facilities and an unbelievably great student body and staff.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Plenty of great resteraunts in downtown Greenville on Main street

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Greenville is in a good location where it is very close to the mountains of SC and NC, and not too far away from the beaches of SC.
