Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - It was pretty standard. There was a Georgetown alum who spoke about the admissions process and the local D.C. area. It was informative and she was able to answer questions swiftly and clearly.

Campus Tour: Yes - Our tour guide was amazing! I haven't been on many campus tours, but he was certainly the best I've had yet. He was upbeat and very informative.

The students for the most part were very friendly. Those handling the campus tours obviously were inclined to be kind, but others were helpful too. Though, there were some incidents, they weren't

Georgetown's campus reflects exactly the kind I'm interested in: it has sort of the traditional campus feel, it's near a big city, and it's rich in history. The architecture is br

Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:

It was very well taken care of. A little dusty in some areas, but that's to be expected in such an old campus.

Dormitories:

We didn't get the chance to see them, although our guide described them in detail. From what we heard they sound as if they range from standard to suite-style.

Security/Safety:

Blue lights, night-time escort service, you have to check in at the dorms, etc. As long as you don't make irresponsible choices, it's very safe.

Overall Campus Impression:

Loved it.

Off-Campus:

Area Immediately Around Campus:

Georgetown is a pretty high-class area. The shops and restaurants around it can be expensive, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for the students there (though many are upper class).

City/Town/Community:

Washington D.C. doesn't disappoint; there's always something to do.

Visit Description:
