Campus Visit Notes for Georgetown University

Visit Description:

Saw Georgetown upset Duke in lacrosse. Yates Field House is a very nice facility with indoor tennis courts(I'm a tennis player) and a nice weight room. Copley Hall is really nice and really old and it feels like your back in the 19th century. The campus is very hilly so make sure you bring good walking shoes and are in good shape. The Exorcist was filmed on parts of campus because the producer went to Georgetown. Make sure you call in advance to set up a tour

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Ritz Carlton on 22nd St

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Old Ebbit Grill-Nice American food kind of upscale.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

The Metro is nice and the closest stop is Rosslyn or Foggy Bottom and is only a 10 min walk from campus.
