Campus Visit Notes for Georgetown University

Visit Description:

We hadn't really even considered Georgetown but it really became one of the top choices-even though we have awhile to go. The city was awesome, Georgetown is great. Maybe a little concern over applying to a particular school, and the on campus housing isn't guarenteed but they didn't really act like it was a major issue. Living off campus would be cool too. We went to the Kennedy Center to see Phantom the night before, hit museams the next day. There is just so much opportunity and so many things to learn right in the city.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Melrose- walking distance to GW and Georgetown. And close to the Metro. Great price especially for DC and pretty nice. Customer service there was terrific.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

There are so many right in Georgetown and over the bridge.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Georgetown has a nice little clean loop system.
