Despite the crimes mentioned above, this is the fanciest neighborhood in DC. Great shopping and restaurants of every sort nearby. [View Full Report] |

Georgetown is a nice suburb, it is not D.C.! the sidewalks are all brick, as are the shops and eateries. Don't try to get off campus housing though, I hear it costs a fortune! [View Full Report] |

Georgetown is a pretty high-class area. The shops and restaurants around it can be expensive, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for the students there (though many are upper class). [View Full Report] |

Georgetown has horrendous traffic, lousy parking, but lots of restaurants, pubs, upscale shopping. Historic townhomes, brick sidewalks. Guide says that upperclassmen find fairly good housing nearby [View Full Report] |

Fantastic. The townhomes are very picturesque (Madeleine Albright owns one) and the neighborhood looks very wealthy and historic. Great views of the National Monument, Virginia, etc. [View Full Report] |

The name of the school says it all. Georgetown's delightful. Our D loves the Harvard Square area and thought this setting had a very similar vibe. Nightspots, ethnic restaurants, abundant charm [View Full Report] |

Very Quaint and quiet-- beautiful if you have a brick house fetish. The high number of campus townhomes is a unique experience and is a great extension to the small size of the actual campus. [View Full Report] |

Great places to eat to make up for decent on-campus dining. Places to go include Wisconsin & M and The Tombs as well as the greater DC area. [View Full Report] |

Your'e on capital hill! You can see the capitol and the monument. That being said, the other side of the campus is kind of boring (just suburban housing right outside the main gate). [View Full Report] |
