I'd check out the city if I were you. Take a cab to the National Gallery of Art, see the monuments, and enjoy D.C. It's a great city. |

The Metro is nice and the closest stop is Rosslyn or Foggy Bottom and is only a 10 min walk from campus. |

Georgetown area has limited parking. Unfortunately, there's no Metro stop there, which can make it problematic to get around sometimes. |

Finding the admissions office from the parking garage was a little tricky...because of all the ups and downs it was hard to read the map and we got lost. |

Register for the info session and tour online to be sent the voucher that gets you $5 all day parking. In town, you'd pay $30-50 for the same. |

Check out M and Wisconsion good shops.

Parking - I parked as a visitor in a very crowded lot. It was $8.00 - CASH ONLY. It would have been $5.00 if I had gotten my discounted parking voucher in the mail on time. |

Cab fare from Reagan/Washington National was $17.50 without tip. When we needed to leave, it was easy to get a cab right at the entrance gate to the university. |

It can be hard getting to/from campus because the metro doesn't go there, and the University buses don't run on Sundays. However, you can walk to Rosslyn from Georgetown so it's not that bad. |

We drove, but I've heard the subway access is mediocre. |
