Campus Visit Notes for Goucher College

Visit Description:

Son loved Goucher, and we could both see him there. The information session was very helpful for me, and the tour guide was so enthusiastic it rubbed off on my son.

All but one of the students on the panel was involved in the arts in some way which I thought might turn my son off, but he just thought it meant there was something for everybody, which is probably true.

The student body was more diverse than some other schools, comprised of different types of kids all interacting.

While not a big campus, it somehow feels sprawling for its size. Towson is right outside the campus, but it seems like most students are happy to be on campus most of the time.

Moved way up on the list after the visit!

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Stayed at the Sheraton across the street from the campus, very convenient.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

We didn't get to the hotel until 11pm and getting food without heading back out in the rain was tough!
