Visit Description:
I never had an official visit of Harvard, but I thought I'd recollect my visit since for those interested, I'm sure every bit of info will help.
I was in Boston with a group and stopped in Cambridge. My friend's brother is a student there so he took us on a little unofficial tour. The buildings mostly seem to be brick, but there are some others that do not fit this mold. I thought the campus seemed very traditional with the walkways with the surrouding buildings, but it wasn't as pretty as I thought it would be. A river is right below campus and Cambridge is really cool. Location may be a big part of a college experience, and I thought that Cambridge had a lot to offer, and of course, the subway station can take one right into Boston. I asked what the worst part was and the brother said that scheduling can be a little bad, sometimes he has to take finals after winter break. but other than that he loves it.
