Campus Visit Notes for James Madison University:
Visit Description: I went to JMU for an audition for the school of music, which was also my opportunity to see what the place was like. Everyone was really nice and the place just seemed to have this happy vibe to it. Even though I had my worst audition out of all my college auditions, this one was not the one I would say was the worst experience. The professors and student volunteers really were working hard to make sure everyone had the best experience possible. Everyone was really easy to get along with and I had a great time chatting with students. I went to a student question and answer session where some current students answered our questions. I could tell they really loved their school. Some misguided (or non coastal state residing?) guy asked how far it was to the beach and the students didn't know, but other than that they were able to answer all of our questions.
