Very much a "generica" mix of chain restaurants and stores.

Highway 81 divides campus but there is a bridge and tunnel to access other side. Bus trans plentiful. Harrisonburg is a quiet place...at least in July!

Small town. A lot of upperclassman live off campus but housing is not a problem for them. There are buses to get students from one part of campus to another.
