theres a lot of fun places in baltimore if you look for them, and i think jhu will tell you at orientation where not to go.

Baltimore has changed! Vibrant restaurant/culture scene. Neighborhood identities abound, making exploring the city very interesting. Much of the city is walkable and JHU is well-located for walking to a number of areas.

It didn't look like much was happening off-campus, unless you have a car and go down to the waterfront, which is about 30 blocks down?

Again, this rating isn't meant towards JHU, but I dislike Baltimore. There are far better college towns out there (Boston, Ann Arbor, etc...) and Baltimore isn't a great residential area either. Many will disagree. Although, on campus it is a

Baltimore is a vibrant city with offerings like Little Italy, the Inner Harbor, the Orioles, Lexington Market (an authentic farmers' market), Federal Hill for boutique shopping in a historic setting, etc. etc. You can probably tell that I am a city-
