Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - The information session was pretty interesting. A lot of specific programs were mentioned. For the most part, an information session is pretty much the same everywhere, in my opinion.

Campus Tour: Yes - Gorgeous campus. Beautiful architecture. The library was the best I've seen anywhere. Old buildings have been renovated nicely while still keeping their historic feel. Dorms sucked though.

With the exception of the dorms, I was very impressed with the buildings and facilities.

Dormitories:

Very old and fairly small. Very pretty on the outside but not at all on the inside.

Security/Safety:

It felt safe enough. The campus does go into the city of Bethlehem so it's not as much of a "bubble" as other schools.

Overall Campus Impression:

Very good school. Not what I'm looking for but would be excellent for many students.

Bethlehem(?) is a small city and pretty nice. I visited the bookstore which is in the town and it seemed pleasant.

Campus Visit Notes for Lehigh University

Visit Description:

Lehigh's campus was gorgeous! It looked very much like a college from the movies. Atheletic facilities are also good. The Philly Eagles were actually training at the campus while I visited.
Academics are very good. With a 28% acceptance rate that's to be expected! I was very surprised in the size of the liberal arts programs. They're the largest division of the college at 40%. I always thought Lehigh was just an engineering school but it's obviously has changed a lot.
One thing about the campus I hated was the hills! It's crazy steep at points and I would hate to have to walk all across campus (but I am pretty lazy).
Everyone seemed nice enough but I didn't get the community feel I was looking for. That's just my opinion, though.
Overall, Lehigh was a great school and I definately recommend students to look into it, especially if interested in engineering.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

We ate lunch at a place next to the bookstore that was pretty good. Definately check out the bookstore.
