Visit Activities:

Campus Tour: Yes - The tour was quick enough to stay interesting but detailed enough to really provide some solid information about the college. A really fun tour in my opinion.

Classroom Visit: Yes - I sat in on an Intro Computer Science class in the Engineering building. The lecture was very complete and structured in a way to help the students organize and understand the material. Impressive.

The admissions person behind the desk and the professor who let me sit in on a class were both extremely friendly and helpful. They provided me with exactly what I requested.

The campus is truly engulfing and beautiful. The old school architecture of the buildings and the growth up the stone walls has a really unique feel to it. A very well presented campus.

Dorms were very impressive compared to those of the schools in my area (Rochester Inst Technology, Univ. of Rochester). Not perfect, but large enough for a comfortable living environment.

Overall Campus Impression:

I really loved the look and feel of the campus. It seemed about an even distribution between male-female which is impressive for a school like Lehigh. An overall great place to be.

Off-Campus:

Area Immediately Around Campus:

Many little shops and food places, but a little bit run down. It is definitely an area I would exercise caution with at night. I felt safer on campus.

City/Town/Community:

The surrounding area is certainly underrated by others on CC. There are all kinds of restaurants and attractions, along with all convenient shopping centers and chains within five or six miles.

Visit Description:

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

The Hampton Inn on Gateway Drive was perfect in every aspect, and for a bargain of around $100 a night. Great staff, great room, wireless internet, and the best hotel buffet breakfast I've ever h

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Lehigh Pizza was decent for lunch. The Taste of Italy Ristorante has fantastic authentic Italian food on Airport road. They have a six dollar coupon on the website if you would like to try it.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

I saw the Coca Cola factory from the road (didn't visit) and I hear that the Martin Guitar Factory is in the area, which might interest musicians.
