personally, i loved cambridge because it wasn't the city city but it still had the excitement...it is really the ultimate college town...i was quite impressed..then the river is nice too

Boston seemed like a great city. I loved the feeling of Cambridge and the very city atmosphere. I'm a city boy though, so I couldn't help but love it.

Boston and Cambridge are filled with college students and the they know it. I felt safe walking anywhere.

The city of Cambridge is quaint, filled with bookshops, small restaurants, and cafes. Harvard University is within walking distance from MIT and the two campuses balance out each other.

Everybody in Cambridge and Boston is great, fun, and very helpful. Don't hesitate to ask them questions and definately budget 3-5 days here, AT LEAST.
