Appearance of Campus:

Very nice for an urban campus. It really had a campus feel (like UC Berkeley) compared to Boston University.

Very clean and well-maintained. Campus was easy to get around and we were able to spend more time exploring after the general tour.

Campus Visit Notes for Northeastern University
Visit Description:
Other notable information: You can get your bachelor's degree in either 4 or 5 years with 1-3 coops, but you only pay tuition for 4 academic years even if you choose the 5 year route. The food was above average in our experience with other college cafeterias. Freshman in the health science majors (nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy) get their courses seeded in the first year so there is no worry about getting the classes you need in sequence to complete the program as long as you pass all the courses you are given. NEU staff have been extremely helpful on-campus and over the phone. You get the feeling of a smaller college by the attention and support the give to the new students.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
Anything near a T stop makes it easy to get around.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
No need for a car - flew into Logan Airport and took the T everywhere.
