Campus Visit Notes for Northeastern University

Visit Description:

Not a lot of students were around, so maybe that's why it didn't have that campus feel. Some train line cuts right through the campus - I found that strange. I got the impression that it's a lot of fun and there's a lot of spirit, especially geared towards the hockey games, especially during some nifty tournament between 4 Boston colleges (don't remember the exact four, so won't mention any). I have to say I did get a little tired of hearing of their co-op, although the guide told us a cool story of someone's experience with it. The student had a co-op in Africa where he was provided with a maid and free food/living while there. The guide was extremely funny, so that might have made my visit brighter (it was a gloomy day with no students around).
