Campus Visit Notes for Northwestern University:
Visit Description:
We came in the day before and walked around the campus. My daughter was extremely impressed with it. It was a beautiful summer day, not too hot, and there was a lot of activity at the Lake which is adjoining the campus.
My daughter likes a more "urban" environment so was pleased you could walk into Evanston and get fairly easily to the big city. She loved the appearance of the campus and could see herself there.
Liked it much better than Emory -- found it too isolated. Also, like the appearance of the buildings and campus better .
Unfortunately, we did not get to see inside any dorms.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
We stayed at the Homestead -- excellent location but a little run down.
