Very happy campus filled with happy, classy, intelligent, and good-looking students. |

I truly liked it, BUT, it was too cold for me, and I didn't get the 100% "I belong here" feel. |

I love how it is right on lake michigan. however, the cold concrete building feel took a little bit of the college feel away. |

I liked it a lot. It's very welcoming. More research university like than the liberal arts education they promote. Didn't get a strong sense of academia like some east coast schools. |

Of all the campuses I've visited, Northwestern's is the biggest and most beautiful. There is a running track by the water on the edge of the school with a view of the Chicago skyline. |

It was a beautiful campus. I will probably go back for a visit when school's in session though, it was pretty quiet in august. |

I thought it was fantastic. My son thought it was "okay." |

It was nice, but not AMAZING. We didn't really walk along lake Michigan but the part that I saw was my favorite part of the campus |

I think that if you like to play frisbee, laze around on the beach, or go for a bit of shopping, evanston is for you. the campus looked very nice for a big ten school; exceeded my expectations. |

I wasn't even that interested in NU before visiting, but now I think it's one of my top choices. |

Just LOVED my visit. Seemed to combine all types of architecture, nature, and everything. No problems. |

I really enjoyed my visit and that is why I am going to NU in the fall. I was amazed at how balanced the campus was and nothing was really lacking. I urge everyone to visit. |

Bigger than I expected, but not too spread out. Not the best campus I've seen, but very pretty in its own way. |

I thought I would have loved NU. The location, the beautiful campus, the prestige... but when I was there I just didn't really get the feeling that I fit. |

Even if NU weren't a stellar liberal arts school, I'd be inclined to attend just because of the campus! I love the campus! |

it seems nice. Are the students all nerds or are they smart and friendly? Any fun to be had on campus? |

No sweeping greens or quads with gothic arch like most top-notch east coast schools. Yet after visiting, I almost didn't care about that. The atmosphere is like nothing I have ever felt before - academic, cosmopolitan and homey. |
