For some reason (probably distance), the nicest parts of campus were not covered on the tour I went on: the sorority quad, the Lakefill, Campus Drive, and Sheridan Rd.

Thought the campus itself was nice, especially how it was on the lake. However, it seemed barren (I guess because it was a Friday), and it was FREEZING --> 12˚F + windchill off the lake

Pretty informative. Talked a lot about buildings' quirky architectural history and not much about dorm life.

The tour was great. The tour wasn't extensiveas I would have liked it to have been because the campus is so large. We didn't get to visit any of the natural science buildings which was dis

IT WAS THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE SUMMER. It was really hot outside. I thought 2 hours was a bit much, but I liked the tour. I liked our tour guide.

Apart from it being a pretty humid uncomfortable day, this was an excellent tour. We walked around the entire campus and saw a lot of what there was to see.

Campus was beautiful, although I was kind of upset that we didn't get to tour the north part, where most of the science and math buildings are, as that's where most of my classes would be

Nice tour guide. It was so hot outside and the tour lasted 2 hours. It was too much. We were tired and cranky after an hour.

There were SOOOOOO many people visiting, that each tour group was very large. Did not get to see inside any dorms.

Sort of did the "self-tour" but went a little off the beaten path.

Tour guides were pretty cool; enthusiastic, loved the campus. Don't hesitate to ask them any questions i.e. dining recommendations - they're all very accommodating. Ours was a particularly s

About 30 minutes long. I visited on a sunny day so campus looked amazing. Tour seemed a little compressed and would of liked to see more of area near north campus dorms but overall it was good.

Student tour guide was excellent... very funny and knowledgeable about the campus and history. The campus is very pretty (even on a cloudy day) and the tour was great.

Tour guide was fantastic, tour route.. not so much. Didn't really get a feel for campus, the tour's circuit was too tight. Didn't see any dorms or go into any buildings.

Had a theater major give the tour. She was nice, but I wish I would have gone with a business/poly-sci focused tour guide because she mainly talked about the theater at NU and not much else...

It was freezing, yet the campus was still beautiful, and the tour guide was still informative and helpful. We didn't go into very many buildings, but the exterior was nice!

Very long, and we didn't even get to see a dorm (where can you, these days?).

The tour guides said an interesting thing before they split us up into groups to begin our tour. They said it was about as hard to become a tour guide as it was to get into Northwestern because so many people are so enthusiastic about the school. I don

Spent about an hour going through the middle half of the campus. While it takes no longer than 15 minutes (at a snail's pace) to get from north to south, you can spend much more time looking at all the buildings on campus. Large enough but everything
