The local bus to Cleveland runs 3x per day but the last one returns around 7PM. Not much within walking distance except the college. I have never had problems finding parking, even on move-in day.

Amish country about 1.5 hours away; lovely drive through New England-like area; Oberlin art museum and Frank Lloyd Wright usonian house are definitely worth visits.
