Campus Visit Notes for Princeton University

Visit Description:

The campus and surrounding area was perfect. It seems to be exactly what I want in a college. While the environment is all that I'd hope for, academically, it isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Don't get me wrong, this is Princeton so obviously it has superior academics, but Princeton seems to have a limited number of minors and majors, so it isn't quite the "perfect" all around fit. And of course it has extremely competitive admissions, so I kinda feel like why bother when I'm not going to get in. In addition, there's the huge senior research paper that is mandatory, and while I value what they're trying to instill, I personally do not think that I will be undertaking research in college, so I wasn't pleased with that requirement. Overall it was a gorgeous campus, but I don't think that this school is the right fit for me.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Westin at Forrestal Village. Best service EVER! The guy who drove us to the campus was really cool, the guy who gave us a dinner recommendation WALKED us to the place!!!

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Didn't park because we had a shuttle, but I heard that parking is horrible.
