Princeton doesn't seem as bustling as New Haven, Cambridge, or Philadelphia were. Since I enjoy urban environments, this was a little off-putting, but if suburbia is your bag, you'll fit rig |

Affluent, quiet suburbs. Lots of soccer moms and kids. |

Lots of expensive boutiques and old buildings. Really quaint. No fast food or department stores. |

Town of Princeton is very nice. Very close to campus. Lots of shops, cafes, etc. |

Pretty upscale shops right in Princeton near the university, but Route 1 has Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Whole Foods...all the usual suspects if your wallet is not quite so fat. |

Although it was odd to see a row of upscale shops across from the gates. No college students I know have money to spend there - but the returning alumni and parents of students probably do. |

Princeton is right in the hear of the hip town with the same name. They are intertwined essentially. |

There's a cute shopping center across the street, and I think the area around campus is great for jogging. |

Very rural. I couldnt find the campus because the roads around the campus were kind of confusing. |

The outside town is really cute. There are some pretty good inexpensive eateries around, too. The road that I took to get into Princeton was lined with trees and flowers. |

Road's bumpy. Princeton's also quite hard to find if you are driving. |

The gates lead you right into the town. Pretty, upper-middle class town with the prices to match. Stores like J. Crew and ice cream shops where little scoops of ice cream (while delicious) cost $4. Very safe, but it seemed small enough to start an onse |

Not only is the town of Princeton funky and really well kept up (despite the high prices, even for parking!), but the closest highway has a lot to offer in terms of dining, lodging, and shopping, all |
