I was surprised. I thought I was going to meet pretentious, unfriendly students. But everyone we asked for directions was friendly and seemed down-to-earth. |

Students we approached were helpful, gave good directions. I got the impression that many were a little bored by being scrutinized by prospective students with parental units in tow. |

Everyone seemed to be going about there business. While no one was mean, no one was nice, or seemed to be having fun. They were just there. |

One student saw me looking lost and gave me detailed directions to my destination, and even walked me halfway there until I was sure I could find the way. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly. |

One night when I was returning to my dorm, several kids called on me and we had a long chat. I found out that one of them was from Yale, and two others were Princeton sophomores. They seemed to be really friendly and keen to find out my impression of thei |

Students were very friendly, very interesting, and not at all elitist or conceited. A few helped us out when we were lost, without even being asked. When I sat in on a small seminar, the students were |
