I saw a few members of the staff, and they all seemed really nice and dedicated to teaching at Reed.

They were nice, but not like "omgsuperfriendly." Everything was really laid back and comfortable.

Admissions staff and the like are always really friendly. Go to one of the other offices and talk with people to get a real taste, they aren't much different than anywhere else.
