Campus Visit Notes for Rice University

Visit Description:

My visit was very nice. I stayed over night in a dorm with other students. Sid Rich was really nice and everyone was extremely friendly. Sid was really cool and they have their own bathrooms and walk-in-closets. When I first arrived, I went on a campus tour and then went to lunch with my host. Everyone was very glad to have me there and was very receptive. I was able to attend several classes including a philosophy class, a biology class, a calculus class, and a chemistry class. All the teachers were very nice and I could tell that I would be thoroughly challenged by them. One professor in particular was very friendly. He invited me and my friend to his office to chat and help her out with some problems. The campus is very beautiful and the academic buildings have all been ornately designed with meticulous detail. There are lots of trees and shrubbery on campus too. Rice is truly an amazing place and I was terribly sad to have to leave.
