My two cab drivers were both somewhat sketchy. My advice is to talk about weather. Just weather. If you get off just a bit, it turns messy very quickly. |

The metrorail located right outside of Rice is great to get to Downtown Houston and other locations; apart from that, Houston's public transit system is not that great. |

Public transportation can be hard to navigate if you've never been to Houston. Most people either bike or have cars. Luckily, Houston is flat and as a Rice student you wouldn't have to bike |

The public transportation is free for students and it seems a much easier way to get around Houston and the school than driving. |
