They showed us one of the rooms in the residence hall. It was cubicle in size! The way the room is built, you can also tell it gets very hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Our bus tour guide said that RU students were protected by the Piscataway & New Brunswick & Rutgers police which was very consoling to hear.

I would rate it lower but it would be bias of how I feel in terms of campus size, I think it is way too big for ME. But overall I liked it very much.

I personally like the fact that there is always somebody around to talk to. There seems to always be people surrounding so its easy to make small talk.

Campus Visit Notes for Rutgers University-New Brunswick

Visit Description:

My tour guide was extremely informative and funny, he told us about his friend's horse when we passed the farm. Apparently, his friend named a horse after a friend of his who also happens to be the tour guide's friend. The horse's name is Lauren. Not only does the friend name his horse after her but also makes her drive him to meet this horse that is named after her! He got the whole bus laughing!
