Campus Visit Notes for St. Marys College of Maryland

Visit Description:

St. Mary's is different because it is a public honors college, but also because it of where it is. It essentially has no town, which some can see as good or bad. I don't think I would have a big problem because it seemed that getting into Lexington Park was fairly easy. It is also really pretty, and feels very serene. The campus reminds me of a summer camp, or like a boarding school, set in its own little oasis. When we first arrived on campus everyone we saw was either outside playing frisbee or exercising, out on the water, or inside the gym. Everyone was very active, and it was a cold February day! Overall I thought this was a very pretty campus, and really liked it.
