Information Session: Yes

Campus Tour: Yes - I found it funny how every tour guide I had for Stanford said absolutely nothing about competition with Cal, but the tour guides at Cal did everything they could to make us loathe Stanford. :]

Classroom Visit: No - Classrooms are blegh.

I know many Stanford students, being a resident of Palo Alto, and they're all very laid back and outgoing.

It's a very beautiful gorgeous, huge campus, in an "oldie" kind of way.

So so so small. My ex boyfriend showed me the room he was sharing with another undergrad, and.. how they managed to fit stuff for two people in a room that's not much bigger than my own is beyond

Palo Alto/Stanford is an extremely safe city.

Stanford definitely does not have its own "college town." Palo Alto is so affluent that the surrounding restaurants and stores meant for college students are barely affordable. But it's
