Yes Campus Tour:
Yes Classroom Visit:
No - i personally didn't get a chance to bask in the presence of any nobel laureates, but heard many corroborating stories about some professors that made people cry during a lecture. (out of inspiration, not abuse)
Stanford University Campus:

amazingly awesome people here. seriously. it's almost creepy.
i got lost for maybe 30 seconds next to a tree and 2 students on bikes stopped to help. wow.
Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff: 4 - Very Good -
cafeteria workers in Lag dining hall were surprisingly pleasant; i saw professors wearing ties chatting with kids on bikes next to buildings; so overall just a pleasant place to be
Appearance of Campus: 5 - Excellent -
so gorgeous! i thought spanish architecture would be lame and weird in norcal, but the post cards do'nt even come close. there's a reason the mascot's a tree.
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness: 4 - Very Good Dormitories: 3 - Good -
varies a lot depending on which ones, obviously. I stayed at Roble, which had cramped rooms but an outrageously fun and awesome group of residents that more than made up for sleeping on the floor and getting old sperm and unidentified urine in my hair. (j
Security/Safety: 5 - Excellent -
the first night I got lost after visiting the Coho and i was wandering trying to find light to read a map in a tank top and shorts. normally i'd be a little worried but these strange men (not as kinky as it sounds, i promise) gave me a coat and walke
Overall Campus Impression: 5 - Excellent -
Stanford is fabulous...most amazing part is how students are hardworking and brilliant, but also just people. they're just people, with hilarious personalities and exuberance - not snooty bitches who think they're better than you b/c their daddy
Off-Campus:
Campus Visit Notes for Stanford University:
Visit Description:
the people there are truly happy to be there, as opposed to attending out of a sense of obligation. the dorm life seems vibrant and very supportive.
what can i say?
i can't wait to go!
and my only complaint about my visit would be the cramped conditions of some of the dorms... i was disappointed. this is freaking STANFORD. they can seriously do better...especially with that new 49670239478 million donation from Nike.
Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:
Lag dining was pretty good; and Late Night was an amazing and thoroughly fattening experience with slightly pricey but really good junk food.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
the campus is freaking huge. please for the love of jebus bring a bike, scooter, golf cart (only allowed for cripples), catapult, scooter cart stolen from Costco or your own man-slave. unless you desperately need to lose weight.
