Campus Visit Notes for Stanford University
Visit Description:
I've visit Stanford on two occasions: once when it was absolutely pouring rain and once when it was like 90 degrees. Rain or perfect weather, Stanford is INCREDIBLE. My information session was with a member of their admissions staff--she was genuinely the nicest, most pleasant lady i've met in a long time. The tour was breathtaking--the buildings, the nature, the students were all picturesque and so so welcoming. All of the students that I talked to seemed to absolutely love life and had a much more relaxed intelligence than some of the east coast schools. Palm Drive looked like a scene in a movie and Stanford reminded me of some absurdly perfect palace. The shopping area around Stanford was incredibly nice but not so affordable. The city of San Francisco is a really nice area with lots of great restaurants, shopping, and people. Stanford is just perfect perfect perfect and I would highly reccomend a visit for anyone that is considering Stanford!!
