Campus Visit Notes for Swarthmore College:
Visit Description: We were really impressed with all aspects of the school. Lots of events going on related to music, theater, dance and speakers/comedians. We liked their sports/PE offerings. They had a lot of variety for those who might not usually like traditional organized sports (like my daughter). Really seemed to encourage student research and special projects.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments: Stayed at Marriott Courtyard by City Hall. Reasonably priced, very nice and convenient to the train.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments: Ate in the main dining hall. Food was ok. Looked like there were other snack bars and places to eat on campous.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.): Stayed downtown and took the train to Swarthmore. Train station is right on campus and very convenient. Lots of other students on the train.
