Tiny little town, seemed comfortable, but you'd probably spend most of the time on campus |

A pretty area, the campus is located in a relatively residential location. There is, however, a mall nearby (a shuttle is available) and the town of Swarthmore is cute with a few local shops and cafes |

There's a train station that goes to Philly. The town itself is cute, but I don't think there's much to do there. |

Immediate neighborhood is wealthy, heavily wooded, older neighborhood. Basic businesses in the "Ville" -- bank, pizza, Dunkin Donuts, etc. Half mile away is commercial strip (mall, Target, Best Buy, Starbucks, restaurants). |

There's nothing to do near the campus. One of the least interesting "college towns" (if you can call it that) I have ever seen, but I suppose that can be expected given that Swarthmore is so tiny. |

Immediately surrounding the campus is a bunch of strip malls. It's convenient if you want to get a bite to eat quickly, but otherwise not the best environment. |
