Campus Visit Notes for University of California-Berkeley
Visit Description:
I went during the summer, which meant practically no people on campus. The guys in the office of admissions dismissed my questions by referring me to the website of the school and the brochures that they gave to me. The tour guide, however, was very nice, and sat down with me to answer all of my stupid and/or personal questions. An optimistic note: while that girl did not pass either of the 2 AP exams that she took in her high school career, her 3-generation legacy got her into Berkeley.
The city of Berkeley is so beautiful that I decided to spend there pretty much two days out of my weekend trip to San Fran. Plus, for those of you who admire big cities, San Francisco itself is a short subway ride away. Fabulous fashion, weather, architecture, transportation system, and people. I wanna live there at some point in my life.
