Campus Visit Notes for University of California-Berkeley
Visit Description:
Berkeley was absolutely gorgeous-- i loved the architecture of the buildings and the warm but pleasant weather. Walking around campus, i saw students sunbathing, exercising, reading, studying, etc. the tour was very informative and made me really love berkeley; however, at the end of the tour, my dad and i walked around and did a little exploring of our own. since i inherited my dismal sense of deirection from him, we were lost in no time and the three students that we asked for help gave us an alarming perspective: all three declared that they felt lost in such a big school and that they had experienced a year or two of extremely difficult adjusting. they did not seem happy at all and advised me to consider other schools... this was pretty weird. nevertheless, these students could not take away from the beautiful atmosphere and the wonderful surroundings of the bay area and san fran.
