Campus Visit Notes for University of California - Los Angeles:
Visit Description: UCLA is really nice. I could picture myself going there. There were parts of campus that were super busy and others that were nice and quiet and secluded. I liked the difference because depending on how I feel I can experience a "public school" feeling of interaction with LOTS of ppl or I can feel like I'm going to a small, private liberal arts college on the same campus! I am thinking of going into business and as I mentioned above the Anderson School of Management seemed great. It had its own little section which really nice buildings and a cute little cafe. The campus in general had a LOT of green areas where I could see myself studying outside on a sunny day. In general UCLA really surpassed my expectations. :)

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments: I stayed at the Royal Palace Westwood which isn't all that "royal" persay, but it was relatively cheap and right in the middle of Westwood so it worked.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments: The Pallomino was great. The bar area seemed to be really crowded, but my dad and I got a seat in the restaurant easily. The food was really yummy, but kinda pricey.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.): We didn't have a car so I'm not sure about the parking situation, but on campus there seemed to be a LOT of places for students to park.
