Campus Visit Notes for University of Central Florida

Visit Description:

We arrived for the morning tour and had no trouble with parking. when we left (noon) the parking lot was quite full. I would suggest if you do go on a tour, to try to go in the moring. Parking was $5. I hadn't realized until the info session how large the University was in terms of undergraduate student population. We walked around campus and went through the engineering building, the student fitness facility and the student union. All buildings were in outstanding condition and the fountains/pool/grounds were very well maintained. The student guide informed us that parking on campus was probably the biggest problem. Housing wasn't guaranteed here and that was a concern for us. There appeared to be many apartments just off campus, however.
We were impressed with this campus and felt they had alot to offer their students.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Orlando....lots to do here!
