No - I didn't really have a information session but the students and a couple faculty member gave me a brief history lesson on Chicago and explained many aspect of the university and the life as a stu Campus Tour:
Yes - I walked around the campus with a couple current students at Chicago. It's a wonderful looking campus with the gothic buildings. It was very clean and seemed to be well kept. Classroom Visit:
Yes - I sat in on two classes. One class was an intro to Econ. and the other class was the "Mind" class. The Mind class was a discussion class that was very interesting.
University of Chicago Campus:

Most students were very friendly and open to answering questions for me.

They were also very friendly. I had a chance to meet a professor and she was very informative.
Appearance of Campus: 4 - Very Good -
Very clean and nice looking. They had a little construction going on but most campus' do. Grass was green and building were very nice.
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness: 5 - Excellent -

The dorm I stayed in was really nice. The dorm had two rooms with a common area connecting the dorm rooms. The rooms had private bathrooms for the rooms. Each floor had study rooms open 24 hours a day
Security/Safety: 5 - Excellent -
I felt really safe on the campus. Every corner had a blue light on it and i.d was needed to enter the dorms at night. I went outside at midnight & I felt safe walking with a group of people.
Overall Campus Impression: 5 - Excellent -
The University of Chicago was a wonderful campus and had a great environment. The campus impressed me and the students I met were very down to earth.
Off-Campus:
Area Immediately Around Campus: 4 - Very Good -
The campus is pretty much a city inside of Chicago. It's enclosed and makes you feel safe. The south side of the campus is where you probably don't want to be late at night though.
City/Town/Community: -
You can't go wrong with the city of Chicago. It's a great city and it provides a student with many options for entertainment.

Visit Description:
The University of Chicago has a great campus and student body. You really get a feel for what the university is all about once you visit the school. I would encourage anybody really interested in the school to visit it because I think you would be impressed and would come away loving the college.

I stayed in a dorm at the University of Chicago.

I ate the food on campus. It was pretty good. A great selection and variety of food that was offered.
